I just bought a new driver from Tour X used it properly for the first time this weekend. Having not upgraded my driver for 5 years I knew it was time for a change but didn’t realise how much of a difference it would make to my distance and accuracy. I’ve added at least 30 yards! Where do I start to ensure that the review reflects the amazing experience I guarantee you will recieve at Tour X from Nick and Nichola. Booking an appointment is easy, just mail or ring however be prepared to wait, Nick is the go to person for an accurate, honest assessment and fitting. His diary gets full but it's well worth the wait. Location in Wigan is 15 minutes from the M6. So easy to get there. You arrive and theres plenty of parking. Then you enter the fitting centre and you are met with the huge number of endorsements Inc top names you will all recognise. Let's face it if the pros trusts Nick then that's an endorsement in its own. It's a golfers paradise. You are met by a friendly and welcoming couple of golfing professionals and then the true experience begins. No pushy sales pitch, just an honest fitting session from a huge number of manufacturers so that you can try a vast range and with differant shafts and settings and all your work is stored and then Nick works his magic and magic it is. How he reads your data and transfers that to your new club is an art in itself. He will only recommend if it is what you need. He is really honest, he won't just go off what you think you want he works off your true statistics. I had two fittings, a driver session and an iron fitting. Thoroughly a rewarding and memorable experience. I had both woods and irons and have moved to Taylormade. Nick and Nicola at Tour X Golf are really delivering something special when it comes to club fitting! The set up is absolutely top class and the trackman room from which Nick does his fitting is a golfer's paradise. You'll even get to choose which ball you can hit for the duration of the fitting. I've had an experience of the more mainstream retailers offering fitting services, but they don't come close to what you'll get from Tour X. It's premium and more! However, the thing that I was most impressed with was the service. Before I even got there, a huge amount of time and effort went into ensuring that there were as many left handed demos for me to try as possible and the communication on this was totally transparent. On the day of my fitting, Nick went above and beyond to ensure I got the best experience and more importantly, to make sure I was satisfied with my chosen product.
